Seminarium: A Multiobjective Mixed Integer Linear Programming Framework for Optimizing Electric Network Operations

14/11/2024

Zapraszamy na wspólne seminarium Katedry Informatyki i Inżynierii Systemów na Wydziale Informatyki i Zarządzania Politechniki Wrocławskiej, Centrum Technik Informatycznych WIT, Zakładu Wspomagania Decyzji w Warunkach Ryzyka IBS PAN.

Podczas spotkania dr Dmitry Podkopaev przedstawi referat pt. A Multiobjective Mixed Integer Linear Programming Framework for Optimizing Electric Network Operations (Dmitry Podkopaev, Weronika Radziszewska).

Streszczenie
We address the optimization of electric network operations, with a focus on microgrids that integrate diverse devices, enhancing flexibility for efficient management. Our primary goal is to minimize costs, though additional factors like environmental impact and system reliability can also be considered. The model operates on a short-term planning horizon, divided into discrete intervals during which operational decisions are made for each device. This optimization problem is formulated as a multiobjective Mixed Integer Linear Programming (MILP) model, implemented in Python and solved using the COIN-OR/CBC solver. Experiments with realistic, full-scale datasets demonstrate the model’s effectiveness and allow for insights into the trade-offs between objectives.

Seminarium odbędzie się 20 listopada 2024 (środa) o godzinie 13:15 za pośrednictwem platformy Skype: link do spotkania.
