Abstract
The topic of the seminar is the automatic generation of linear programming models based on the experience of an agent collecting information from the surrounding environment. In addition, the use of quantum numerical methods to improve the model quality will be presented. The subject of the seminar combines the fields of optimization, machine learning and numerical quantum techniques. Areas of application of the considered problem in the field of operations research will also be discussed.

Abstract
When dealing with alternative attributes that across alternatives take values of different magnitudes, it is common to apply a form of normalization to have them within a common range. We show that if normalization takes place before preference elicitation, it can distort the decision-making process. We demonstrate this phenomenon in examples.
We argue that it is only correct to elicit preferences without normalization or after normalization.
